Plate Type Heat Exchangers

PHE exchangers are enormously used in all the industrial sector as a prime equipment in heat transfer applications.

PHE exchangers are process efficient in terms of thermal, pressure drops and temperature approach, high performance in operation with less fouling and corrosion, change in duty condition can be adjusted easily. PLATE MATERIAL:

In PHE, hipher the turbulence results in higher heat transfer rate, reduced heat transfer area, requirement. The small flow channels formed by corrugated plates create turbulent flow in PHE. There are multiple plate characteristics like the heat transfer, pressure drop and required thermal stability, resistance of the plate pack and the type of media influences for the selection of plate types.
